2. Service Description

ZoneWatch monitors publicly available Australian local council proceedings, Victorian state government gazettes, and planning scheme amendments. We use AI to analyse these documents and alert you to regulatory changes that may affect short-term rental properties.

ZoneWatch is NOT legal, tax, financial, or compliance advice.

Our alerts are generated by AI analysis of public documents and may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. Always consult a qualified legal or compliance professional before making decisions based on information provided by ZoneWatch. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of our alerts.

4. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when registering.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must not share your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

5. Subscription and Payments

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in Australian Dollars (AUD).
  • You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content without permission.
  • Exceed reasonable usage limits or attempt to circumvent rate limiting.

ZoneWatch and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CommonGround and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Source documents are public records and remain the property of their respective government bodies.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, ZoneWatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Victoria.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
